My son used to love the Games Cavern when that was open behind Palmers and other than Game (which frankly smells a bit funny) there is nowhere to go now Woolies is shut. I wish them luck

Video game nostalgia fans will (probably without exception) use the internet, my advice to them is check eBay and Amazon's market place before buying anything from E3. That way you'll be sure you're not paying over the odds. The difficulty is without real novelty items - Neo Geos, Turbo Grafix, rare (not one or two typical battered examples) arcade machines etc - what is there to make E3 worth paying more than you would online? In my opinion nothing. It just doesn't offer anything that different.
