This isn't directed at anyone in particular - I've just had a couple of messages about this thread getting a bit out of hand. We don't want to stiffle debate and will leave the topic open. I think the difficulty here is that people try to boil their views down to a few sentences and sometimes they come across as caricatures rather than the rounded people they (hopefully!) really are. Most people are quite capable of being rational but it can be easy, as Black Shuck said, to misinterpret or misunderstand short written statements. When things get heated it can discourage others from joining in, so while gently poking fun (as has been the case thus far) is not a problem please don't cross the line into posts that might discourage others, who are less confident, from contributing out of fear of being ridiculed!

In other words, "Won't somebody please think of the meek?" Well at least it makes a change from thinking of the children! ;)
