Full Schools

Postby MiddleSchoolMum » Mon Jun 22, 2009 8:15 pm

There seems to be something very wrong with the management of education in Bury St Edmunds. It is now reported in the Bury Free Press that two of the primary schools on the Moreton Hall housing estate are full and not accepting more pupils for next year. 1) This means they are very popular and must not be abolished to make way for the super-schools the Council want to impose 2) Why didn't anyone see this coming?

Yeh I read about this. Interesting, isn't the council suppose to make sure that the local amenities and facilities can support extra housing before they approve the planning permission?? Seems they didn't bother with he Morton hall estate!!
